EQT - MVP – Mountain Valley Pipeline

Phase I of this planned project consists of approximately 330 miles of 42” diameter natural gas pipeline running from northwestern West Virginia to southern Virginia.  As an interstate pipeline this project is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.  The MVP will extend the Equitrans transmission system in Wetzel County, West Virginia, to the Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company’s (Transco) Zone 5 compressor station 165 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  Synergy Inspections is currently one of the major providers of inspection services for this $3.5B project expected to be in service Q1 – 2019.
